After years of development, glass rotor flow meters have a wide range of applications, such as chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum, etc. The glass tube float flowmeter is one of the main products of Changzhou Chengfeng Instrument. Due to its simple structure, easy operation, simple installation, intuitive reading, and affordable price, this glass rotor flowmeter has become a product. Good products require good usage to ensure the accuracy and stability of the flow meter.
So what aspects should be paid attention to when using a glass rotor flowmeter? What are some tips?
1. Firstly, do not remove the front cover of the glass rotor flowmeter, as the glass tube is fragile and can explode due to thermal expansion and contraction. The cover serves as a protective measure.
2. When opening the valve, be sure to slowly open it. If the estimated flow can float the rotor but the rotor does not move upward, immediately stop opening the valve and gently tap the pipeline to allow the rotor to slowly rise.
3. When using a glass rotor flowmeter in winter, attention should be paid to the temperature difference. If not used at night, the residual liquid in the flowmeter should be drained to avoid freezing the glass tube.
4. When installing on a pipeline, the first thing to consider is whether the downstream pipeline is in a straight line. If it is not in a straight line, it will not only affect the measurement accuracy of the instrument, but also damage the glass rotor flowmeter.
5. Firstly, observe whether the glass tube inside the glass rotor flowmeter is intact, as the glass tube is prone to damage; Next, remove the fixed object of the rotor and gently tilt it to see if the rotor can slide freely up and down. If you cannot slide freely, gently vibrate the support plate. If it can no longer slide, professional personnel need to be hired to solve it.
