The main part of the cone tube of the plastic tube rotor flowmeter is made of ABS plastic material, which has good corrosion resistance, reasonable structure, small volume, light weight, and the cone tube is not easy to break. It can be widely applied in industrial sectors such as chemical industry, environmental protection, and food.

Installation of plastic tube rotor flowmeter:

〔1〕 Before installation, check if the flowmeter has any filling material (to prevent the float from moving during transportation), and then reinstall it. During installation, pay attention to whether the rubber gasket is installed in the groove of the connecting pipe to prevent water leakage.

〔2〕 The interface of the plastic tube rotor flowmeter can be made of matching ABS plastic tube or PVC plastic tube, with socket connection, threaded connection, or plastic method connection, and then connected to the metal flange.

〔3〕 The plastic tube rotor flowmeter must be installed vertically without obvious inclination. The angle between the centerline of the flowmeter and the plumb line should not exceed 5 degrees. Its installation height should be convenient for reading the float. When reading, the line of sight should be level with the float. 〔4〕 There should be a straight pipe section of 5 times the diameter of the instrument at the upstream and downstream inlet and outlet of the instrument.

〔5〕 The pressure of the side fluid must be stable. If the fluid is too strong and unstable, it will cause the float to fluctuate and cannot be measured correctly.

The use of plastic tube float flowmeter:

〔1〕 When using the instrument, the upstream valve should be slowly opened to full open first, and then the flow rate should be adjusted using the regulating valve downstream of the flowmeter. When the instrument is stopped, the upstream valve should be slowly closed first, and then the flow control valve downstream of the instrument should be closed.

〔2〕 The reading of the instrument is shown in the middle of the engraved line, and the value is read from the scale of the float according to the height of the float rising.

〔3〕 When the cone tube and float are contaminated, they should be cleaned in a timely manner.

〔4〕 Regularly check the error of the flowmeter. Once it exceeds the specified error, the float and cone tube should be replaced or recalibrated for better accuracy.

〔5〕 When the measured fluid is inconsistent with the calibration medium of the flowmeter, the reading should be corrected accordingly.
