The metal tube rotor flowmeter adopts the principle of variable area measurement for measurement, mainly used for measuring liquids and gases. The metal tube rotor flowmeter, as the name suggests, is an all metal structure. One advantage of the all metal structure is its high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, and resistance to breakage during transportation. Of course, the metal tube rotor flowmeter has complete functions, including on-site display and remote transmission output. It is now widely used in flow measurement processes in complex, harsh environmental conditions and various medium conditions such as petroleum, chemical, power generation, pharmaceuticals, food, water treatment, etc. What are the requirements for installing a metal tube float flowmeter?
1. The flowmeter must be installed vertically, and the measured fluid passes through the flowmeter from bottom to top. The inlet and outlet must have a straight pipe section of 5 times the diameter of the instrument. For newly installed pipelines, the pipeline should be flushed clean before installing the flowmeter.
2. For the convenience of maintenance and replacement of flow meters, a bypass pipeline needs to be connected during instrument installation.
3. Valves should be installed upstream of the flowmeter, and flow regulating valves should be installed downstream at 5-10 times the instrument diameter. For small-diameter instruments, a filter should be installed upstream. If the measured medium contains magnetic substances, a magnetic filter should be installed before the flowmeter.
4. When the measured medium is dirty, the tube and float should be cleaned in a timely manner.
5. The measurement accuracy of metal tube rotor flowmeter is generally 2.5 levels, and when high measurement accuracy is required, the accuracy can also be made to 1.5 levels.
6. For angular metal float flow meters with import and export not in a straight line, when used for liquids, pay attention to whether there is any residual air in the extended sleeve of the external float displacement, and it must be drained completely; If the liquid contains tiny bubbles that are prone to accumulate inside the casing during flow, it is even more important to exhaust them regularly. This is more important for small caliber instruments, otherwise it will significantly affect the flow indication.
7. Instruments with LCD displays should avoid direct sunlight as much as possible to avoid reducing the lifespan of the LCD
8. Avoid vibration. Including vibrations caused by external and internal factors of the pipeline network
9. When multiple instruments are densely installed or carbon steel process pipelines pass near the instruments, the metal tube rotor flowmeter should maintain a distance of at least 100mm from the instruments to avoid magnetic field interference.
