Turbine flowmeter belongs to velocity flowmeter, also known as impeller flowmeter. The impeller flowmeter utilizes the proportional relationship between the rotational angular velocity of the impeller placed in the fluid and the fluid flow velocity, and reflects the volume flow rate of the fluid passing through the pipeline by measuring the rotational speed of the impeller. It is one of the more mature high-precision instruments in flow meters.

Turbine flowmeter is a commonly used flow measurement instrument, which has obvious advantages such as compact structure, intuitive and clear readings, high reliability, no interference from external power sources, lightning resistance, and low cost. So what are the main components of a turbine flowmeter?

A turbine flowmeter generally consists of the following typical five parts:

1. Table body

The material of the watch body is generally steel or cast iron, with flange connections at both ends. Small caliber watches also use threaded interfaces.

2. Components measured

There are precision machined blades on the turbine, which together with a set of reduction gears and bearings form a measuring component. The two high-precision stainless steel self-lubricating bearings supporting the turbine ensure that the component has a long service life. The turbine flowmeter can also use an external lubricating oil pump to lubricate the bearings, but be careful not to over lubricate them.

3. Counter

The counter panel displays the working temperature and pressure; Measurement and minimum flow level; Product model and number; Explosion proof rating and marking; Equivalent and wiring method of fluid corresponding to low-frequency or high-frequency pulses

These five aspects.

4. Rectifiers

The rectifier is used to keep the fluid flowing through the turbine flowmeter in a regular state, thereby eliminating the adverse effects of disturbances on the metering.

5. Magnetic coupling transmission device

The device separates the counter part in the atmospheric environment from the measured gas and transmits the rotation of the measuring component to the counter.

The above are the components of the turbine flowmeter. Understanding this structure will also facilitate future use and maintenance.
