Product Overview

The TP3300 sodium ion analyzer is developed based on GB/T14640-2017 "Determination of potassium and sodium content in industrial circulating cooling water and boiler water", GB12155-89 "Analysis methods for boiler water and cooling water - Dynamic method for measuring sodium", and JJG 822-1993 "Verification regulations for sodium ion meters". Applied to research institutes, colleges, and other research departments, applied to industries such as power, petrochemicals, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, food, and environmental protection, suitable for quality testing of high-purity water (such as steam, condensate, boiler feedwater, etc.) in power plants, and suitable for detecting sodium ion concentration in natural water and industrial water.

Principle

The response of the potential of a sodium electrode to changes in sodium ion concentration can be described by the Nernst equation. At 25 ℃, the theoretical response value of the sodium ion selective electrode to ten fold changes in ion concentration is 59.16mV, which is called the electrode slope (S). However, most electrodes do not exhibit theoretical slopes, so it is necessary to calibrate the instrument to determine the true slope value of the electrode. In specific use, we use two standard solutions to calibrate the true slope value and zero point of the electrode.
