The difference between diaphragm pressure gauge and diaphragm pressure gauge

Diaphragm pressure gauges and diaphragm pressure gauges are two commonly used types of pressure gauges, which differ mainly in four aspects: working principle, elastic components, accuracy level, and measurement range.

1. Working principle

Diaphragm pressure gauge: When measuring pressure with a diaphragm pressure gauge, the measuring medium will directly act on the isolation diaphragm, generating a pressure perpendicular to the diaphragm and upward, causing deformation of the diaphragm. The deformation squeezes space and causes the filling liquid in the spring tube to transmit the medium pressure to the spring tube, causing elastic deformation at the end of the spring tube. With the help of a connecting rod mechanism, the gear shaft of the movement is driven to rotate, and the pointer indicates the measured pressure value on the dial.

Diaphragm pressure gauge: Under pressure, the measured working medium directly acts on the elastic diaphragm, causing elastic deformation of the diaphragm upwards (measuring positive pressure) or downwards (measuring negative pressure). With the help of a connecting rod mechanism fixed at the center of the diaphragm, the movement gear shaft is driven to rotate, so that the pointer indicates the measured pressure value on the dial.

2. Elastic components

Diaphragm pressure gauge: The elastic element is a spring tube, and the diaphragm only serves as an isolation function.

Diaphragm pressure gauge: The elastic element of the diaphragm pressure gauge is a corrugated diaphragm. The measured pressure acts on the diaphragm, causing it to undergo upward (or downward) elastic deformation. The pressure value is indicated by a connecting rod mechanism welded to the diaphragm.

3. Accuracy level

Diaphragm pressure gauge: The general accuracy level is 1.6.

Diaphragm pressure gauge: accuracy level is 2.5.
